Trail Description:
Starting at Slalom Plaza, the trail begins by heading straight up Wombat’s Ramble towards the aqueduct. Once you reach the aqueduct, take a slight left and follow the Walking on Water trail as it continues uphill. Cross over a boardwalk and make your way to Pretty Valley Road. Cross the road and continue climbing up the hill.
At the top, take a right turn onto the MTB track (Turbine) and follow it past Wombat’s Ramble, crossing it and linking back to the MTB trail. From here, you’ll make a right-hand turn onto the road, cross it, and follow the Broadway Ski Run down to the wooden wind fences. Take the first right onto a grassy trail that will lead you down to the water tanks.
From the water tanks, take another right and continue downhill until you reach the aqueduct. At the aqueduct, turn right and follow the trail back to Wombat’s Ramble. When you reach Wombat’s Ramble, take the MTB trail to your left and follow it all the way back to the finish line.
This trail starts with a challenging climb using ski runs and MTB tracks, which might make you second-guess your choices. But fear not—the end brings a thrilling, flowy downhill section that will leave you exhilarated and eager for more!
